This policy applies to clients who engage Vantru by IMG for verification services, the individuals and businesses named as counterparties in a review, and visitors to this website.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, contact details, and the deal or counterparty information submitted through our intake form. In the course of a verification engagement, we may also collect publicly available records, business filings, and documents you or the counterparty provide.
We use the information we collect to scope and perform the verification you requested, communicate with you about your engagement, prepare findings, and meet our own legal and recordkeeping obligations. We do not use client or counterparty information for marketing.
We may use vetted third-party providers to support identity verification and document review. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own confidentiality and data protection obligations. We do not sell information to third parties.
Deal details, counterparty information, and findings are shared only with the parties you authorize. Everything shared with Vantru by IMG during a review is protected by a mutual confidentiality agreement, provided before any documents change hands.
We retain engagement records for as long as needed to support our findings, meet legal obligations, and resolve any disputes, after which records are securely deleted or de-identified.
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we work to continually improve these protections.
